Brand New Top Ten Count Down

Disclaimer: I know this is a ridiculous time of night to be blogging but I had this Connect Vitamin Water, which is apparently like the equivalent of like 5 Red Bulls. Because I drank it at like 10 and am still wide awake. Anyway...

I really wanted to do like a top ten year end countdown thing, but I couldn't decide what to do it on. So I decided to do a top ten decade end count down, but I still couldn't think of anything. Then a Brand New song came on my pandora and I realized they were formed like 10 years ago. So I decided I would do a top ten countdown of the best band of the decade and or possibly all time.

Since Brand New is so amazing I couldn't put in every favorite song so here are the top five that barely missed the cut in no particular order.

So I didn't want to put this in cause its technically a cover. I wasn't sure what to do with it so its the Josh of this countdown.

Number Ten - Brothers and/or Coca Cola

So they did this same arrangement with different lyrics and its called Coca Cola. I definitely like Brothers better. Not saying Coca Cola is bad like its all right but its not as good. Oh ya this is on there Fight of Your Deamons EP.

Number Nine - I Will Play My Game Beneath The Spin Light

Lyndsie's personal favorite. My personal ninth favorite. This is on Deja Entendu

Number Eight- Seventy Times Seven

K title of this song is a bible reference!!! Way to go the gospel! I gotta twenty dollar bill that says you can't figure out what it is refering to. Anyone catch that I used a lyric from mix tape btw.

Pretty sure this is Sara's favorite. Sorry for the really weird video its the best I could find.

I don't have anything to say about this. I just love it.

This is track 5 on Kickn' It Aush Two. The best mix Jory has made in his life. So I thought it should be five in this to.

Number Four - Sowing Season

Justin can back me on this I can sing the yeah's in this song probably better than Jesse Lacey himself. I love the whole finger pointing thing I might do that in pictures now.

Number Three- Play Crack The Sky

I know this song is super depressing to most people but it will actually get me out of a depressed mood when I listen to it. PS, the end is my favorite part for some reason. Like I really like the whole them leaving the studio thing.

This is like one of the only legit videos they ever made.

So, I know this is featuring Kevin Devine. But Kevin Devine is cool, and this version is cool. So I don't really care if its not the original.



So that was it my top ten Brand New songs. If you actually listened to all of them pat your self on the back. If not, you suck. If you don't agree with me whatever that's cool I know Justin wont and I don't really care.

K guys I have the official plan for my life. I'm moving to the Maldives and living on the beach.I'm sick of being all white and wintery. Its gross. I am going to spend my days in the ocean and hooking up with hot rich tourists and sending them on their way after a week with absolutely NO strings attached. Seriously that is all I want, just a endless string of uncomplicated new faces. Cuz turns out once you get invested in a guy not like casually its completely terrifying.And knowing how he feels about you makes it all the more scary and just makes you want to run away even more. Because I hate being in this vulnerable position and I just want to not care about anything or any guy, cause I'm all guarded and insane like that. So Maldives it is.
