Travelin' Tuesday- Part 3

"Just kidding! don't let go of the rope your too far out!" Um thanks for the advise =)

Ya um... I don't even know what to say...Just WOW
Gotta love tubing, Seriously!

So FUN

Hottest girls on the water!

That would be Mike going down the slide on the back of the house boat in a kayak... oh yeah and he makes it. No Joke

Me chillin' in the boat with Kanye West

Ya some Lost thing... but its seriously epic!

Haha the crappy old Sea Ray got super beached during the storm

He is like 182 years old and look at him totally kill it.

Its here! I am probably more excited than you guys, but its finally time to blog about hands down the best trip of the summer. LAKE POWELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So lets start from the beginning shall we. It was really fun to spend the six hour trip alone with my sister. No phones, no leksi =)JK, no nothing. Just us talking. It was really fun. Then we made it to the marina...which was not as fun. Honestly I don't know why we ever wanted to work there Sara. I was lugging like 30 pounds half a mile in 100 degree heat. Ya, not cool... Finally at the boat we headed out. After the most epic tube war known to man we were at cookie jar and the most awesome beach at all of lake Powell. It was super beautiful and the most amazing white perfect sand ever. Our neighbors boat was bigger, bigger speakers on their wakeboard rack, basically bigger everything, but not a bigger sand castle. Hence the picture of the giant foot. It was like something like from lost because they were blaring lost all night or idono. Honestly ask lynds what the 4 toed foot is I got lost (haha WHAT!) But ya so there was so much I don't even know what to talk about. Oh, so Bill is like the absolute grandpa I would love to have. He is like this total California hippie surf bum. He wore all the brands, and listened to angels and airwaves, and was just pretty much the coolest old man ever. Except he snored like there was no tomorrow. Haha and when we finally convinced him to go down stairs. Amie found out he like to sleep um... all exposed lets say. Ya gross. There was this massive storm where we were all laying on our beds trying to keep them from flying away. So some incredible wake boarding went down, of course!, and um... Oh ya speaking of storms I had to ride the sea-doo through Padre Bay during like a huge storm with Mary. Calling us when we were at the marina to say that they were coming to bail us out. =) haha good timing. Um... what else. There was some fun times cliff jumping... playing in the water. Ya and there were a lot of fireworks um ya pretty cool this really amazing cave... that's all I'm gonna say =) Love you guys!

Monsoon Monday

Alright so even though my tan has faded considerably since we got back from vacations I still love the monsoons! Like take today for instance, on route 66 today there were cars seriously hitting puddles that splashed up higher than their actual vehicle. Like suburbans and stuff people. It was so cool. And its not like an all day thing either. You get up and its super nice then around noon or one the storm blows in for like two hours then its back to like blue skies. But ya big storms make me smile so I am so pro-monsoon. And last night there was this super sick lightning storm that I just laid in my bed and watched it so cool! And you can wear hoodies and like fall clothes early which I love because hoodies and stuff like that are pretty much my favorite.

These storms are super cool, but it comes at a price. The Shultz fire left neighborhoods like Timberline and Doney Park totally screwed. All the ground cover and most of the trees and stuff were all wiped out so it left the entire side of the peaks like a giant mud slip 'n slide. The fire got a ton of media and honestly got a little blown out of proportion. Ya, it was 14,000 acres but it wasn't like burning people alive and stuff. Anyway, but no one but locals basically know about all the flooding. The washes have been so full that a 12 year old fell in and sucked under, they finally found her body like 5 miles away shoved up against a tree under the freeway. It has been really cool to see how the community has like come together and helped though. Like our stake has spent a entire Saturday filling sandbags up there and all the fire fighters have become like flood fighters and its just really amazing to see that I mean this thing has been going on all summer and people are still taking animals still doing pretty much everything that they were when the fire first broke out. It is so awesome.

Ya on a less bummer of a note. This was supposed to be about how I love the rain but it kinda took a weird tone my bad. Oh and also shout out to Monsoons on Leroux. Best Chinese ever! and that's including PF Changs so that really is saying something. Love you Guys!

Stressfull Saturday

Okay you guys I am officially freaking out over my life! I just had the worst day at work and I feel like crying. So, first things first. I had this native lady totally freak out about how she didn't have a stupid baked potato with her salad bar. And I was like K do you see baked potatos on the salad bar, no, so odviously it doesn't come with one! But I still brought it out and everything and then she was so horribly rude. And Nicole totally was all pissed at something and taking it out on me. It was just horrible and things with Daniel were bad. But it was just creepy. But ya i think Daniel is annoyed about taking my shift thurs. even though he is the one who called me and offered but it was probably like he didn't want to but would come in type of thing. Or he could have just been having an off night to. Hey, looking on the bright side maybee he broke up with his girlfreind. I don't know and we talked about Malcom and it was just weird and I didn't want that to ever come up. But I seriously am even more confussed about everything. I don't know as of tonight pretty sure NOTHING is going to happen. =( I seriously feel at this moment like I am going to end up being a crazy cat lady but with dogs because cats are lame. And getting ready for school has been such a hassel, because their entire system has been down so its super hard to get everything. I am just really bummed and I know I am being overdramatic and stuff but I am just really tired and most likely a little time of the monthy... Ya I know TMI but whatever.

And yesterday at work Chris, told me I had super attractive legs and he would like love to eat a french fry off my big toe if it was stretched out to him. Super weird and awkward, huh? K I am going to bed now and Am going to try and forget about this night. Love you Guys!

Travelin' Tuesday- Part Two

This cove was so crazy cool!

Brax chillin' at the beach

The fam at dinner

The girls in Santa Monica

Alright our next stop on the vacation train is...(have you guys ever noticed how much I love those ... things, cause I have.) CALIFORNIA! Yeah, Way to go for the golden state! So this trip was kinda put a damper on by the fact that our entire town was about to be burned up and everything but still so fun. Can I just say I love surprise vacations. Nothing better than coming home from work thinking how much it sucks that you have to go back the next day... but wait YOU DON'T all you have to do is pack because your leaving in the morning to Rancho Palos Verde. K so we stayed at the Terranea which is such an amazing resort. Plus guess what was filmed there The O.C. I never found out where but I made a special note to see as much of the resort as I could so I could say I walked where Seth, Ryan, Marisa, and Summer walked. I am pretty sure it was down at the cove but i dono for sure.
Ya, so the night we got there everyone was really tired from driving so all we really wanted to do was chill on the beach but we decided to get some food. We went out to Redondo beach and drove to this Pier. Which John named K-Town because seriously I have never seen so many Koreans or Korean Shops. And not racist but they have no personal space there were constantly people right next to me. And trying to push Brax through a sea of Asians seriously NOT EASY! I couldn't breathe. So we all left a little on edge and finally opted for this pizza place on the way home. We brought it back to our villa (all still wanting to kill each other by the way). But came back to a bowl of tropical fruits and this pretty flower arrangement welcoming us to the hotel. and immediately we were relaxed. Plus! TURN DOWN SERVICE! I have never stayed anywhere with it before. Which gave me an idea at home turn down service... like the pillow fluff comp. water bottle the whole nine yards. It would be so great which is going to be my new company Turn In.

So ya, then it was Knotts Berry Farm time which is SOOO much fun. like Lagoon on steroids but even better. And hanging out at Santa Monica Pier was so epic and sick! After a few days we decided to head down the coast to good old Del Mar. Where a old totally gentleman guy with a cane told me I had a beautiful sun tan and preceded to his Bentley. John said I should take him for a sugar daddy but I mean come on I am going to hold out for some one who doesn't have to drive his own Bentley please =). Haha no never ever ever. But ya we went to sea world and what is up with that place. The shows have really taken a nose dive now that they can't get in the water as much. It still is fun and all but I wish they could do more with the animals I mean that's what you go there for. It was so much fun just hanging by the ocean and exploring and just going where ever we decided with no plans or really any concept of time at all. GOTTA LOVE THE CA. LIFESTYLE.

Marry Me Monday

Umm... I don't think I need to say anything...

K have to admit they are cute together =) Park City '07

So I have some big news... GUESS WHO IS GETTING MARRIED!!! Haha not me gotch ya ;) But that was a little bit of humor before this bombshell. Justin, and nope not to Jory. That would be GUESS WHO IS GETTING A LIFE PARTNERSHIP!!! I know my first guess to, but ya I guess I am just putting off saying the name. Which is..........Mollie. Um, ya that is not a typo. He purposed to her a week ago in Vegas. I am happy for them. Especially since they have a year long engagement (planning for sometime in June) and lets leave it at they have a year we will see what happens in that year. I am always behind my brother 100% but I am not doing cartwheels in the cheering section of these nuptials. I mean my first words out of his mouth when he told me he was getting married was "to who?" like it honestly did not even come into my head that he would be marrying her. The next thing I did was text Jory and make sure it wasn't a joke. Kinda blown away.

K, so all my feelings put aside. I really hope them all the best. Hopefully me and Mollie can find some common ground and become close friends and sisters. But if we don't, honestly it really doesn't matter what I think. This is what makes Jus happy than Awesome I am happy for him. I have my reservations but ya know who cares. I wish them all the best, and a lot of luck. Love you guys both, Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Preview- Travelin' Tuesday- Part 2 is going to be published by tomorrow!!! You can have the whole seat if you want but trust me you will only need the edge.

Travelin' Tuesday- Part One

Its finally here!!! Well sort of... I decided that it would be better since I have traveled around a lot, to do like a whole like 4 week series. I know you are all as bummed as I am =(. But I will make it up to you by having it be super sick. Trust me every travelin' Tuesday will be like Christmas. No better it will be like Christmas, Your Birthday, The last day of school, First day of the season, The day you got your license. All thrown up into one beautiful exciting blog! So here is our feature presentation. Da De Da Da...

You dream about your senior trip. A cruise to the Bahamas, backpacking through Europe (which doesn't mean camping) or amazing week in an upscale resort on the San Diego coast. Then you get to your senior year and realize that there is no way your dreams are going to come true. But everything always works out for the best and I can not even think of a better senior trip than a completely sick week in Park City with my forever and ever bff's Kris and Sara. Not going to lie it got off to a kinda crazy start at the grocery store. I thought Sara was going to have a panic attack. As we spent 5 hours in an Albertsons trying to find Parmesan cheese. But it was totally hilarious and fun. Then we spent the night in the hot tub where I fell in with ping pong. Well where i fell in love with the brothers playing ping pong. The next day Kris rolled in. She decided that her new job was more important than chillin in the condo with us. Weird I know. We spent the night at the pool again. But most of our efforts were focused on talking Kristina into stay longer, because she wanted to go back and watch dear john. Which BTW I wouldn't recommend. In the morning we went up to the Olympic park. Which is cool. It would have been fun to do one of the jumps in the pool, but no swimming suit and no clue how to sign up. Leads to me just watching but still having a blast. Then we hit up the resort for a little alpine slide action. It was so fun highlights would be Kris having to bounce her way 1/2 the way down the zip line with me and the girl working screaming at her to just keep going while holding back laughter. Then me getting like 5 feet of air on the alpine slide. It was definitely a party! And I also found my beautiful perfect baby. A $500 Burton FeelGood. For how much now? You ask. Ya I didn't pay half a G. I only paid $99. I know right! I was so excited. I practically slipped into idol worship over this board. Just Kidding but really. The rest of the week was spent shopping, partying, fire dancing, and eating breakfast foods the size of your face at the bridge. It was the perfect send off to high school. Huge thank you to Jack and Deon Pate for letting us crash in their condo. Seriously so cool of you. It was the best senior trip I could have dreamed of.
